These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Fast Move Quotes website and application (collectively, the “Platform”) and services (“Services”), owned and operated by Stephen Symington (“Company,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”). By accessing or using the Platform or Services, you (“User,” “You,” or “Your”) agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and User Agreement, incorporated by reference.
If you disagree, do not use our Platform or Services. We may modify these Terms at our discretion, and continued use after changes means you accept them.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY NOTICE
Patent Application Notice
The Company has filed patent applications in the United Kingdom, European Union, United States, and other jurisdictions for our transport quote calculation system and methodology (“Fast Quote Process”). This includes systems for rapid transport quotes across multiple modes (road, air, sea, rail) based on origin, destination, and date inputs.
Unauthorized reproduction, implementation, or use of systems that may infringe our patent applications, if granted, may constitute infringement and may lead to legal action and damages under applicable law. Copyright Protection
All Platform content—text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software, and their compilation—is owned by the Company and protected by United Kingdom and international copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Platform offers quotes for transport services across road, air, sea, and rail, including:
A proprietary quote calculator for estimated costs based on origin, destination, and date;
Forms to confirm quotes and book services;
Transport-related information and resources;
Other services as described on the Platform.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Services at any time without notice or liability.
ELIGIBILITY AND USER ACCOUNTS
You must be 18+ and legally able to enter binding contracts to use our Services. If acting for a company or entity, you warrant authority to bind it to these Terms. We may refuse service, terminate accounts, or restrict access at our discretion, especially for Terms violations.
LICENSE TO USE
Subject to these Terms, we grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for legitimate business or personal purposes. Beta testers may explore Platform features and APIs for evaluation, subject to these Terms. The license excludes:
Copying, modifying, reproducing, distributing, selling, leasing, or creating derivative works from the Platform or its content;
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code from the Platform or its components;
Removing, altering, or obscuring proprietary notices or labels;
Using the Platform to damage, disable, overburden, or impair it.
Violations may lead to license termination and legal action.
ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Use the Platform and Services lawfully and per these Terms. Prohibited actions include:
Violating local, national, or international laws;
Using unauthorized automated systems (e.g., robots, spiders, scrapers) to access the Platform;
Interfering with system integrity, security, or server transmissions;
Imposing unreasonable loads on our infrastructure;
Uploading viruses, malware, or malicious code;
Impersonating the Company, employees, or others;
Restricting others’ use or enjoyment of the Platform.
Technical Access for Beta Testers
Beta testers enjoy unlimited quote requests and API access upon free registration (contact stevesymington@icloud.com). Unauthorized overuse or abuse may lead to temporary or permanent access restrictions.
CONTRACTOR RELATIONSHIPS
Independent contractors on our Platform are not Company employees or agents. We act as an intermediary connecting Users with contractors.
Contractor Non-Compete
Contractors agree not to develop or offer systems replicating FMQ’s proprietary quote calculation algorithm for one year after their last use of our Services. Violations may cause irreparable harm, potentially leading to injunctive relief and damages.
QUOTE AND BOOKING PROCESS
Quote Calculation
Our calculator generates provisional estimates based on provided information, subject to:
Change until confirmed by both parties;
Available data at calculation time;
No guarantee of accuracy or service availability;
Specific terms by transport mode.
Booking Confirmation
Confirming a quote requires:
Completing all booking information;
Paying any deposit;
Receiving Company confirmation.
Requirements vary by service and will be clear during booking.
Cancellations
Cancellation policies differ by service:
Submit cancellations in writing to stevesymington@icloud.com;
7+ days before service may get full/partial deposit refund;
<7 days before may get no refund;
We may cancel or reschedule due to operational issues or uncontrollable events without liability.
PAYMENT TERMS
Accepted payments (bank transfer, credit card, etc.) are specified at booking. Terms include:
Non/late payment may cancel bookings or suspend service;
Refunds follow cancellation policy;
Prices exclude taxes unless stated;
We may change prices, but confirmed bookings keep original quotes.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The Platform may link to third-party sites or services we don’t control. We’re not responsible for their content, policies, or practices, or any damages from their use.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent allowed by law:
We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (e.g., lost profits, data, goodwill) from Platform/Service use or access issues;
Our total liability is capped at £1,000 or your 12-month payments to us, whichever is greater;
This applies to all liability theories (warranty, contract, tort, etc.), even if we’re warned of damages;
Exclusions don’t apply where law prohibits.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your negligent violation of these Terms or Platform/Service use.
GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms follow England and Wales law, ignoring conflict provisions. Legal actions related to these Terms or Platform/Services go to England and Wales courts, though we may sue for breaches in your residence country or elsewhere.
Alternative Dispute Resolution
Before suing, we’ll try good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, we may agree to non-binding mediation under mutually agreed rules.
MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
Entire Agreement
These Terms, Privacy Policy, and Platform notices form the full agreement between you and the Company.
Severability
Invalid or unenforceable provisions will be minimally modified to be valid or deleted if unfixable, without affecting other Terms.
Waiver
Not enforcing a right isn’t a waiver unless written and signed by our authorized representative.
Assignment
You need our written consent to assign these Terms. We may assign freely.
Force Majeure
We’re not liable for delays or failures due to uncontrollable events (e.g., acts of God, wars, strikes, pandemics).
Notices

Amendments
We may amend Terms anytime. Material changes trigger email or Platform notices. Continued use accepts revisions.
